Telling stories without using Powerpoint

Most of us have become pretty used to communicating in a linear sequential way. Powerpoint came along and convinced us that this was the only way to go.
As I prepare to share this keynote presentation for the Finalsite University 09 Conference in the US next week, though, I am once again challenged to think about the form of what I say, as much as the content. Hence, trying my best to get used to Prezi, a new kind of presentation tool that I came across recently.
One thing I do know is that neither the work we do, nor the personal stories into which we are caught up are as linear as the makers of Microsoft Office would have us believe.
Neither do I live in a world with bullet points.
